Benefits of using Bounce Net

There are many issues that can arise when DICOM sending images to an offsite server.

Instead of sending your images to a server that may be on the other side of the world, we have a software program called Bounce Net that can be installed on your computer that will send your images for you. Your images will only have to travel to your local server, and Bounce does the rest of the work for you.

Bounce is a compression software program that creates a smoother, faster, uninterrupted send, and ensures that your images are sent successfully to your online account. Many DICOM sends will stop after 2 failed attempts but Bounce will continue to try. The Bounce program uses continual connection testing which will stop the program when no network connection is present.

There is a one-time fee for license registration and installation. Installation and configuration is done by our DVMInsight Support team and can take approximately 30 minutes depending on the internet download speed.

Bounce must be installed on a computer that is always on and has a Static IP address. Bounce works behind the scenes, so as long as the program is running you do not have to think about it.
